CLASSROOM BEHAVIOR INFORMATION
In our class we use a positive behavior incentive program called Class Dojo.
Each child starts the week with 0 points. As the week progresses they will earn points through Class dojo towards a goal of 10* per week.
Once a week, those students who earn 10 points will get to select a coupon to use in class.
An additional incentive, is for the whole class. If the class earns a total of 300*!
This will be extra recess or lunch with a movie in the classroom.
Some examples of our coupons are: Stinky feet for the day (they can take their shoes off in the classroom); Bring a fuzzy friend to school for the day; Invite a friend to eat lunch one day.
There are also consequences...
A warning will be given, then children will lose a point for inappropriate behavior. If the inappropriate behavior continues, a note or email will be sent home.
Please join our Class Dojo community by signing up with the information sent home in your child's blue folder. Please email me with any questions.
Please take a look at the Video below to receive an introduction to Class dojo and thank you for your support of our efforts by checking your child's class dojo account frequently!
